Founder Here! I Get Paid to End Fights
True story: I stumped an entire bank legal department over a repossession law they didn't know existed, reversed the repo, killed every fee. I've been doing this a long time!
I'm Ashley! On paper, I'm an international legal and conflict resolution consultant splitting time between the U.S. and Europe (U.S. France and Italy) where I also own and manage rentals so yes, I've been the anxious host refreshing the app at 2am too). I just genuinely love untangling a mess and handing someone back their peace of mind.
Something I've learned doing this: most people treat every conflict the same way email back and forth until it resolves or blows up. But conflicts aren't all the same kind of problem, and that's usually why they drag on:
- Still want the relationship intact? (a vendor, a co-host, a repeat guest) that's negotiation. You need someone in your corner, not a scorched-earth approach.
- Nobody trusts anybody enough to talk directly anymore? that's mediation. Time for a neutral third party.
- It's a pattern, not a one-off (recurring complaints, a growing backlog, the same contractor issue every time) that's a systems problem, not a people problem.
- Already several rounds deep, going in circles? that's the moment outside help saves you more than it costs.
Most people wait until the last one. The earlier three would've saved them time, money, and a few gray hairs.
This is genuinely what I do all day, across a few different worlds: conflict resolution, negotiation, mediation, and strategy for investors, hosts, corporations, and corporate executives; contract review and customer/client complaint resolution when things pile up faster than you can respond; HR and conflict-risk consulting for growing companies; confidential Ombuds relationships for corporations and businesses; and quieter, more discreet advisory work for executives and private clients who need something handled without it becoming a thing. I also teach conflict resolution as its own service, for people who want to understand why it works, not just hire someone to do it.
I'm looking forward to being part of this community not just to talk shop, but because I like people who build things, and I like being useful to them. If something's nagging at you a dispute, a messy contract, a pile of unresolved complaints say hi. I promise I'm more interesting at a dinner table than in a fee schedule.
