Newbie from Greensboro

Hello to all. I'm an IT specialist with a large research university in Chapel Hill and my wife is an public school teacher in Greensboro. We're at the point in our lives where our jobs are stable enough and our kids are old enough where we have the time (and some equity) to start investing in real estate.

We want to initially invest in < $100K multifamily properties in and around the Greensboro, NC area. I've read books and blog posts and have zero experience in actual RE investing. I hope to get into the game with your help and that I can soon pay it forward.
