I am new to Bigger Pockets. My Name is Greg Casey. Have been reading as much as I can on the forums and listening to the Bigger Pockets Podcast. Great Job, Josh and Brandon!! Always very informative and entertaining. I am also in the process of reading J Scott's books. Lots of valuable information.
I am currently working a more than full time job as a structural engineer in Austin. The Austin real estate market currently appears to be fairly tough because of the very competitive market.
I have owned 4 primary residences in the past. This will be my second venture into real estate investing. My first was a poorly timed fix and flip house in 2008. Ouch! Could have been worse though.
My long term goal is to generate a passive income through "buy and hold" investing which will enable me to invest on a full time basis.
I look forward to belonging to and learning from the Bigger Pockets Community.
