Hello! My name is Fannie and I'm born, raised and now a newbie REI in St. Louis! I have some information and have been to a couple seminars that have been held here and while I dont have 20,000 for advance education, I am excited and ready to get into real estate. Right now I haven't done any deals yet but looking to get the ball rolling with Wholesales and Rentals. Im so glad I found this site, which have introduce me to other sites that are very helpful. Its assuring to know that I dont have to spend an arm and a leg to make this dream a reality.

@Fannie Hood Welcome to the site. I, too, am a newbie investor wannabe here in the St Louis area. I live over on the Illinois side of the Mississippi river.

I haven't done a deal yet, but I have been on BP for about two months and have been busy reading to the forums and blogs. I have also been listening to every podcast they offered - through about 58 of them so far.

If I were to give you a piece of advice, don't bother with paying for the guru. You should at least start with BP and some books. I know one TV flipper was recently in the area and held a free seminar. You can learn a lot from this site and from the podcasts... and it's all free.

Wish you the best of luck!

Ron
