I am Bharat Medasani and I work  as a researcher in physics.  I am new to real estate investing and I am mainly interested in rental investments. I wish to learn more about rental investments and network with like minded people. I am currently reading the beginners guide.

I appreciate the resources provided by BiggerPockets and thanks to all the members.

Replied

Hello from Oakland. I am also new to real estate and property management. One thing to consider here in the Bay is rent control law. Berkeley had quiet the reputation for being extremely one sided towards tenants. Just be careful about what city you have rental property in.
Having said that, good luck!
