Hi BiggerPockets community. I have been a lurker on BP for some time...Not in a creepy way mind you. : )

My name is Tom Ziebro and I am a new real estate investor. I have been interested in investing in real estate for about 6 months. I have read countless books and listened to a lot of podcasts. It is now time for me to start putting knowledge into execution.

My goal is to build some passive income from rental properties. I also plan on flipping a few properties with my wife. I look forward to learning from all of you and I hope to be able to share my knowledge as it grows over the years.

Hey @Tom Ziebro - it's a great strategy but you'll likely encounter a couple things:

1.) The deal has to be INCREDIBLE because there must be enough meat on the bone for both people to profit well.

2.) You'll need to find a bank willing to do this. It hasn't been tough for me, but some banks have an issue.

Also, be sure to have an attorney set it up AND talk with a CPA in the process. It will cost a little bit to do, but TRUST ME, it's so important on this kind of arrangement!
