Members,

My name is Eugene Moreau and I have recently made the decision to get into real estate this past month. I currently work in the DC area at a semiconductor fab and travel to Pittsburgh on my weekends.  I don't have a background in real estate, but I'm learning what I can from books, podcasts, and now the BP forums.  I'll take as much help as I can get, anything that will further my knowledge is worth my time and will be greatly appreciated!

Some short term goals for the month are to find a mentor around the Pittsburgh/Uniontown area to get some hands on experience with how everything works, break the ice, and get my first project (flip or wholesale) started in April.  I have high hopes and am very ambitious on my goals, I'm really excited to see where this takes me!

Hi Eugene,

I'm a real estate agent with Keller Williams and an investor in the buy and hold strategy, concentrating on small multi units.

Attend local pittsburgh meetups if you can. They're a great way to break the ice on investing and meet people doing the very thing you want to do.  PM me if you'd like more info on them.
