Newbie from Springfield, MA area.
Hi fellow Investors,
My name is Keith and I am a newbie to REI! I've been a licensed insurance broker for over 4 years now and have started to shift my interest towards investing. Im a family man and a proud New Englander. I love vacations to Cape Cod in the summer and Skiing VT in the winter. My ultimate goal with investing, is to create wealth. Enough to provide my parents with financial security throughout there retirement, donations to various charities and eventually to leave behind a legacy. I look forward to any and all advice. From newbies alike, to seasoned pro's, I thank you in advance.

This is a great place to learn. Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.
This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business. Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.
Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have. Unfortunately most of the meetings are Worcester and east. However there is a new Western Mass meeting that recently got started. Hopefully some of the members from out in that part of the state will chime in. I think the next event is tomorrow in Springfield. Here is the Facebook group for that.
