hey there  im a long time listener to bigger pockets. and im about manage my first rental property. my family and I are upgradeing to a new home in Bothel washington.. and planning to Rent my property in West seattle. i haved a few question:

1. how would i calculate what i should charge for rent

2. does anyone who lives near my area know of  a service that can make my house look rentable. patch holes from picture frames and clean carpet?

You can try rentometer.com for an estimation (free). Rentrange.com tends to be more accurate but costs money. The only way to narrow down is running comps yourself, with property manager or an agent. Find someone who knows what they are doing. If you need a property manager, message me and I can send you some good people.
