Just wanted to drop a quick line and introduce myself. My name is Colleen. I'm brand spanking new to the Bigger Pockets community. I'm looking forward to learning with you and from you. I'm just getting started in what I hope will be a long career with a diverse portfolio as a real estate investor and I'm quite curious where other people started? If you wouldn't mind sharing with me what your first deal was, or what sparked your interest in real estate and how you got started I would love to read your stories. Thanks for your time!

@Jason Lint

I haven't caught the podcast yet but it's on my to do list! I used to have an hour drive to work that made personal development like that so much easier to get to! I have been watching the webcasts while I'm on the elliptical at night. I will find a way to squeeze them in and make them more of a priority. Thank you for the suggestion. Can I be so bold as to ask if you fund your own investments or if you use bigger pockets to help you find more creative ways to fund?
