Any Buffalo NY suggestions

Am from queens NY and looking to purchase a 2 or 3 family investment property in Buffalo, and if successful continue to invest in Buffalo properties. Am also looking to move to Buffalo NY eventually so house hacking is a "must" part of this goal.

Since I am a beginner and live 8hrs by car away from Buffalo I figure I will start with a turn key property from:

http://www.buffaloturnkeyproperties.com/

Am sure the owner of this company will say any of his properties are a good investment but I am the type that  need to know why the property is a good investment. Therefore I think I should learn how to screen tenants and how to figure whether a property is in a location near jobs.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hello Joshua,  there are quite a few of us here from Buffalo, you should definitely do your due diligence and contact someone local to help check out first hand your investments and give advice.  Buffalo changes not only block by block, but street by street.

There are MANY pm companies and "turn key" ones as well, some more reputable then others and again, due diligence is your best friend.
