Hello Folks,

I meant to start my investment journey in 2002. However the planets and the moon didn't line up for me at that time. So here I am in 2015 to see if I can start this thing over from scratch.

I am not from but currently live in Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA area.

My real name is Kevin I prefer face to face interactions but the internet has broken saving time down to milliseconds so I guess I need to roll with it. I know very minimal about real estate, only they every time I play a video game with a market I always end up just playing the market. :) and yes I win. Usually I end up handing out money to everyone or reinvesting it to hire armies to kill the ones wrecking my market. So I see real estate as just an extension of that plus or minus a few things.

I have worked in building rehab (2yrs), mainly schools and prisons designing HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical.

My Goal in Real Estate is secure my retirement when that comes. That's my goal.

I ended up at BiggerPockets because I wanted to exhaust my sources of information as my Real Estate agents are either to busy to answer some of my questions or would like me to pay a premium for their consultation so I need to branch out. I am not filthy rich. I currently do not know many people in Portland but I know there is some good snowboarding to be had here.
