I was recently introduced to real estate investing by one of those 3 day real estate seminars. I loved it and am looking forward to getting started. Starting from scratch I'm so happy to have found Bigger pockets. Its an invaluable resource for me. I ook forward to learning from you.

@Joseph Crawford welcome to BP, the seminar will get you interested, continued education will get you going. You will find plenty on BP, In addition to what @Brandon Turner mentioned , go back and listen to the podcast starting current and work backwards.
I would also encourage you to check out the two REIAs in Charlotte, MetrolinaREIA.org and CharlotteReia, very different groups as well as meetup.com for real estate investor meetup groups. Persevere
