New member in Chattanooga, TN

Hello everyone!

My name is David McLean and I live in the Chattanooga, TN area. I've been a non-active member of BP for several months now and wanted to finally introduce myself. The BP community has been such a great resource in helping build my REI knowledge base! I'm truly amazed at how knowledgable and helpful the BP members are and thankful for such a great resource.

My experience: I was a full-time real estate agent from 1998-2009 in the Memphis, TN area where I was involved primarily in residential property development, land and lot sales, along with some commercial property sales and leasing. Since 2009 I've worked as a medical device sales representative. My personal real estate investing experience has mostly been our personal residences over the years. Thankfully we've done well with those! 

After moving to Chattanooga three years ago, I began to have interest in buy and hold real estate investing. I tend to spend a lot of time studying and prepping before I jump into something and this new interest was no different. I've read a ton, talked to friends who have been in the business for years, been studying the market and preparing financially. Now it's time to take action!

I'm pursuing SFR or small multi-family buy and hold investments in the Chattanooga, TN area. I'd certainly welcome the opportunity to network with other RE investors/ BP members here in the Chattanooga area as well as here in the forums. I hope to be able to make a positive contribution to the BP community!
