Excited for growth as a new member in Indiana

I currently reside in Fort Wayne Indiana. I am looking to start in the buy and hold investment journey of my life. In the past I have flipped 3 houses and neither of them were very successful. I have learned a lot from them and am ready re boot my investments. I currently work full time but have a large amount of capital to invest. I plan to use a good portion of it in real estate buy and hold investing. I may end up flipping some properties down the road but I want a good foothold on my cash flow first.

Goals. I have started my goal setting process however I am looking to do some more research before I fine tune them as to the exact type, sizes, and locations.

1 year goal - Create $1000/month cash flow

2 year goal - Create $3000/month cash flow

3 year goal - Create $7000/month cash flow

I know this will be a very interesting journey and I am excited to get started. I have experience operating businesses but am constantly on the quest to learn more.

I look forward to making some great connections and learning all that I can.

My strong traits are;

Being creative. If I have the time to stop and think I am very good at creating solutions.

Problem solving. I have a unique way of looking outside of the box.

Level headed. It takes a lot to get me off balance.

Not afraid to take risks. I am still very young and am willing to take calculated risks.

With all due respect, responses that have nothing to do with the OP's post do not contribute to the thread. I agree, Kansas City is a good cash flow market. We do a lot of work there, but this thread has nothing to do with Kansas City. The OP is from Fort Wayne IN and that is clearly his area of interest. I'm sure he's not going to suddenly move to KC.
