@Dana Peters I think your approach is wrong. Why would an agent allow a non-buyer to tie up a property with the option of just backing out if they cannot resell the contract? Question: would you lead the agent and/or owner to believe you intend to buy the property if that is not the case? If so, wrong approach. If that IS the case, why would they want to proceed? What benefit can you bring to the transaction?
