Hello Bigger Pockets!

My name is Jonathan Basden and I'm located in the northern CA area just outside of Sacramento. My girlfriend and I own one house which is our primary residence. I'm currently moving forward in any way that I can to learn and grow in this crazy real estate investing world. I'm looking forward to going to my first REI meeting next week with the goal to meet new people and start making a presence in my market.

I have absolutely no background in real estate investing in terms of business.  After listening to the podcasts and reading a few books here I am.  Ready to learn and excited to grow.  I have been in construction for 10 years, specifically HVAC so if there are any question the community might have please feel free to ask away.
