My name is Jeff Louis . I am currently living in Tampa Florida I'm looking to get started in real estate i brought my first home last year I loved the process so now I want to be a real estate investor I read books, listening to podcasts also watch YouTubes to learn about real estate investing. But still it seem I'm afraid to take that step. I want to start off on flipping and wholesaling. I tried finding a mentor around Tampa to help me out but that was cloudy. I'm willing to learn to know everything about real estate investing. Hopefully I can get help here.

Welcome. I been in the Tampa Bay real estate investing game since 93. One thing I've learned about Tampa Bay is that there are markets within markets within markets, and a "market" can change simply by crossing a street.
Google Tampa Bay REI club and attend their meetings. You'll learn a lot. There are also several spin off REI clubs. Attend several meetings with the sole purpose of learning and not to find deals, and don't be in a hurry even if someone pitches what they call a smoking hot deal at one of the meetings. Learn the markets first.
