Greetings from Salt Lake City, UT!

Hello everyone!
I'm Steve and I currently am living in beautiful Salt Lake City Utah. I am here to learn about investing in multifamily rental properties and maybe one day be able to leave my job as a dockworker and pursue investing in real estate as a career. I am absolutely blown away at the wealth of information available on BP and will probably be reading up quite a bit before I even start posting. Eventually though I want to meet all the great investors around me and one day find a mentor who can help me avoid costly financial mistakes since my wife and I live very frugally and have a two year old to provide for. We currently have a 30yr/fixed mortgage on a single family home that we have lived in for two years and I hope to use it as a starting point to what I hope to be a fruitful career in investing.

Thanks for reading, I can't wait to meet all of you!

Steve

Welcome to B.P. @Stephen Sorensen. Having young kids is tough and great. You should know that they use up time (worth it) as they get older. I suggest you jump in as soon as you can. You already have a great start by owning a home.

Good luck.
