New member from Michigan

Hello everyone! I'm a transitioning member of the military due to move back home to Grand Rapids, MI in August. My wife is also ending her service and is currently hired and is training to become a CFP.

We will be purchasing our first true investment property in the coming months. We plan to owner occupy a duplex while I finish my degree at GVSU full time. Buy/hold and passive income are the aspects of real estate that I am currently the most interested in. I love the thought of someone else paying my mortgage. 

I have looked up the real estate and landlording groups in my future local area and am very excited to start my networking experience. What a difference from the military it will be HAHA.
