Greetings Bigger Pockets Community!

I stumbled across the Bigger Pockets Podcast on YouTube a few months ago and have watched upwards of 30 shows.  Josh Dorkin and Brandon Turner make the learning process fun and entertaining as well as describing the strategies in an easy to understand manner.  I am a newbie when it comes to Real Estate Investing, as I have not yet made my first deal.  My real estate strategy is to build a portfolio of Buy & Hold Multifamily properties in growth markets.

I was born in Anaheim, California and grew up in a small town called McKinleyville in northern California.  I lived there for 20 years before realizing I wanted something bigger with my life so I moved back to the southern California region where it was then that I was introduced to real estate and investing in general.  From conducting my own research and hearing first hand stories, I knew that real estate would be the key to living a life where I am in control of my destiny, financial health, time, and freedom.

Getting started isn't easy as I have a full time job with many questions and lessons to learn, however, in the end it will be worth it as I plan on passing on my knowledge to the next generation and enjoy life the way that I was meant to.

It is one small step in my life to stand up and introduce myself to you here in this community, and one giant leap to change not only my life but also those around me with similar mindsets.  I look forward to talking with fellow investors and establishing relationships that will eventually lead to fulfilling our goals and dreams.
