Hi everyone,

I'm a new investor from Massachusetts looking to network, learn and get my first deal.  I'm looking to generate passive income through buy/hold properties.  I'm currently considering some out of state properties using 401 (k) money and look forward to learning from this great community.

Welcome take full advantage of the BP resources.

Check out the Start Here page http://www.biggerpockets.com/starthere

Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). Find them through Google and meetup.com Reach out to @Mike Hurney and @Justin Silverio who have meetings in your area.

Two Great reads, I bought both J. Scott The Book on Flipping Houses, The Book on Estimating ReHab Costs http://www.biggerpockets.com/flippingbook
