Newbie in Queens, NY
I'm a newbie living in Queens, NY who is more than ready to get started in real estate investing. A few things you'd probably like to know about me...I'm an educator who enjoys reading non-fiction books (coincidence?), traveling and socializing when time permits.
In terms of preparing for my big leap of faith in real estate, I've read books, watched videos, and attended home buying workshops in NYC and MD. This past Spring, I gained hands on experience about the ins and outs of the highly priced NYC real estate market as I searched for my first home. What an experience. Fifty property visits later (I've learned this is not such a bad number), I've developed tough skin and I'm ready to invest elsewhere. I look forward to learning from so many of you.
