Entrepreneur Thinking Big

This post won't resonate with many of you. It might seem like overkill, or greed. This was not written to brag or smear, it was written looking for insight and big-picture thinking from other entrepreneurs.

Over the course of my life I am going to build a billion dollar business. How, you ask? and WHY, you ask?

Im 17. I will be attending a top school this upcoming fall, and planning on studying Business Administration. I realize that real estate is a powerful vehicle to ride and build investment capital with, among other things.

*note: My goal isn't to retire at 35 and be lazy for the rest of my life.

I am going to build up capital over the next couple decades through networks, connections, real estate, stocks, and pretty much everything else. Then what will I do with this huge amount of money?

Technology.

In the past decade alone we have come so far in terms of technology and innovations. I can only imagine what the next couple decades will look like. So my plan?

Allow investors and scientists pour time and capital into research, then I plan to capitalize on the information and build an innovative business on it. For example, space travel. Elon Musk is doing the majority of the leg-work with SpaceX, but his problem is exactly that. You see the science fiction movies now, but in a couple decades they will be real life. But space travel isn't it. Plastic organ creation, Flying cars, you name it. Welcome to the future.

So I am an entrepreneur, a big "end-game" thinker. I don't desire to be rich. Financial Freedom isn't my goal. My story is different than most of those I hear on the podcast and those who post on these forums. I didn't get laid off, hit rock bottom, and just hope to live a life without financial worry. I want to impact the world in a positive way and spearhead the next chapter of the Human story.

I've got the greatest asset in my pocket—time. Most kids my age are out partying every weekend and living in the peak of their life, before they are even 18. t just disappoints me. I have goals, and I believe there are others out there who do as well. If so, let me know what you think, and where we are going in the future.
