New to Bigger Pockets!

Hi all! My name is Jessica and I have recently discovered bigger pockets as a great resource for industry information. :)

I'm making my first step into the saturated wilds of house flipping... House flipping is something I am passionate about and have always wanted to do, and it feels like the natural next step for me. I am interested in building a cash-flow portfolio as well, and wish to build mixed retail/apartments/hotels (the latter being a long-term goal).

Some background on me:

I currently own a property management business, and have many years of experience related to construction in general. I previously worked for Hensel Phelps on Patrick Air Force base as a field superintendent, and I also worked for Holder Construction in Atlanta doing professional estimation, contract analysis and negotiation. Aside from major commercial, I have experience with numerous home renovation projects, as I come from a family of home builders, investors, and flippers.I am a graduate of UF with a Bachelors of Science in Building Construction (go gators!), and an under-grad in Architecture.

Unrelated to construction, I am also actively a private IT consultant to PriceWaterhouseCoopers, specializing in big data, cloud technologies, legal compliance, and audit controls (Assurance division), and am an experienced paralegal in the areas of corporate and bankruptcy law. 

So basically..... contracts, negotiation, details, and analysis are kind of my thing. :)
