South Central Indiana
Hello All!
I am new to the BiggerPockets community and real estate investing. I have only been reading books and listening to the BiggerPockets Podcast for about 2 weeks now. I currently live in rural south central Indiana outside the very small town of Crothersville. For any of you who are familiar to the area, you know that my location is approximately 45 min. to 1 hour away from both Indianapolis and Louisville, which I find to be a great problem to have. However, I want to start my investing a little bit closer to home and "get my feet wet" before diving into investing in locations an hour away. For anyone familiar with the area or with experience investing in rural america I would love to hear from you and if you have any tips that would be great as well!

Hi Jordan. Crothersville is going to be a hard place to start out. My suggestion is the look at Scottsburg. With the new Samtec factory that was opened about a year ago it is going to be growing.
