Hello everyone,
I'm new to BiggerPockets, thanks to @Craig Curelop . While at his residence (AirBnB) we spoke about real estate and life in general. It took me some time but I am finally here. I've been following investors and developers online but never really went out and got a deal. Lastly, I am a vet so any advice on the va loan, financing etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to BP! It's always great to see other Veterans on BP. If I could do it all over again, I'd buy a 4-plex the first time I used my VA loan. If you have any specific questions, feel free to message me.

@Dominique Irby , take advantage of that VA loan opportunity. I missed being eligible because my service time was just a few months shy of what was required. Regardless of that, I pushed forward. Got FHA on my very first purchase which I house hacked. I have since continued to house hack and I must say, it is not only an affordable strategy to get to Financial Freedom, but it is a great way to learn how to be a landlord. I continue my journey and excited to be here continuing to learn. My interest is in Multi-families and that is all I buy as I am seeking to scale quicker. I also self-manage and for me, I find that MFHs are easier to self-manage than the SFHs, though some may argue otherwise, which is fine, talking here based on personal experience. Thank you anyway for the connection and looking forward to exchanging notes and learning from others here on BP. Cheers!
