Hi BP Sharks! My name is Guy and I'm a contractor in LA area and I'm just starting to get in this world of investing.

My partner and I are really interested in investing in rental properties outside our state which houses run around the 50-80k, areas such as  Columbus OH area. our goal is pretty much cash flow and to have as many units as possible in the next few years.

what are the best areas/neighborhoods we should be focusing on in the city? is this a good place to go to considering what we are looking for? we'd be happy if you guys can point us in the right direction.

thanks to you all and God bless!

Guy

Run, do not walk, away from SF homes in this price range around Columbus. They are junk and/or in the very worst neighborhoods in the city. Ignore my advice at your own peril. We have seen dozens of out of state (and in state) investors crash and burn buying these "deals".
