Newbie from Virginia beach (Military)
Hi all,
I'm Aya, a newbie from Virginia beach VA. My husband is in military for about 12 years and we moved here from Japan about 5 years ago. We bought our first home here 3 1/2 years ago. Since then, the idea of real estate investing really attracted me. I'm hoping to buy a property to rent out. My goal is to own multiple houses to be a financial free and buy our dream house! Being in a military, there are many obstacles and I'm not so sure if it works for me but taking some actions are my first steps. Joining biggerpockets is one of them. I don't have any friends around me who are into REI, so I'm so excited to connect with people with same visions here. Especially, if you are in this area or in military, I would like to know your story and learn all the cases.
By the way, my doughter's name is REI meaning beautiful in Japanese.. totally accidently it also means my favorite thing in English lol
