So i just moved to Indiana a few weeks ago from California and going to pursue my dream of becoming a RE investor. Not really sure where to start but we just sold our house so I have some capital to get started, just want to make sure I make sound choices when starting so I decided to join BP as a resource to make connections and maybe even find my first deal. I have some capital to start with and looking to acquire my first deal by the end of the year. I’m interested in single family and multi family, but I’m open to anything that shows potential. I’m also looking to fix and flip initially but hoping to move to a buy and hold strategy in the long term. Thanks for reading and I look forward to learning from and meeting you (virtually or in person).
Greeting Jose and Welcome! I'm in Bloomington and I'm sure you will find the pace of life here in the Midwest a lot nicer than CA. Best of luck to u and I hope to see you around.
Thanks @John Dellinger I’ll definitely see you there.
Thanks @Matthew Davis . How’s the market up in Bloomington?

Welcome to Bigger Pockets.
To be honest @Jose Trevino ...I'm still trying to figure out the market in Bloomington myself? I'm new to the area and just trying to soak up as much info as I possibly can before I jump into anything.
I actually just graduated from IU and was looking to invest in the area around Bloomington, IN. Anyone active on this thread that I can take out for coffee to have a chat? I'll be in town this weekend, let me know!
