Greetings from a newbie in Carmel, Indiana!

Greetings BiggerPockets family! I am an actuarial analyst who recently discovered the beauty of real estate through my local REIA and who has been enjoying learning more about it each day. As of now, my path will probably be multi-family apartment rentals (advice for a newbie encouraged!). But no matter the focus, my goal is to become a knowledgeable real estate investor who will not only close awesome deals, but to also help other fellow investors through advice and future partnerships. Looking forward to this journey and thanks for the warm welcome!

@Joshua Huang Welcome to BP! You're at the right place and it's great to get started and take action! I'm local to Indy and invest in and around the metro. Feel free to reach out. Local REIAs are a good place to network and help you get started! Good luck.

@Devin Scott I can relate to the analysis paralysis, man! I feel like being an engineer is a curse sometimes as I went through the same phase. I had to shut down all podcasts and book readings and go ahead and start making offers. That's all it took to get started! Good luck :)
