Hi BP!

My name is Paul. I am a 33 years old, living in the Mt. Laurel, NJ / Philadelphia, PA area. I am new to real estate investing and so glad to have found such an incredible group of smart, talented and helpful people.

Real estate investing on this level is new to me but I have always had the burning interest to one day really dive in. In highschool I spent some summers helping my neighbors flip houses. I didn't do much more than the grunt work of painting, removing wallpaper, yard work and trips back and forth to the dumpster, but i loved it!

Now I am here with a steady job and I am in a place in my life I am able to take risks and really make the moves to reach “my why.” I have bought and continue to read a number of BP books and spend every morning on the commute to work and on the treadmill at the gym digging through the podcasts. When I have a short break, a blog post is always a click away. I am always trying to learn more so I can be as successful as possible.

I want to focus on single family buy and holds that have a steady cash flow. My plan is to use the Brandon Turner coined term of BRRRR'ing to get there. Every day I look at the MLS, Zillow, auction.com, hudhomestore.com and many other resources just to gain the understanding of the area and practice running numbers. I have not put in any offers yet as I continue to learn and practice but I am working at taking this step soon! I hope to start investing in South Jersey so I can focus on my first property and learn from the things I do well and also the things I can improve upon.

I am so excited to join the BP community and more than willing to put in the hard work to learn from all of you! My day job is as a marketing specialist and I have a background in graphic and web design. I hope that I can use these skills to help the people that I gain guidance from in the future.
