New Investor getting started in Tampa, FL

Hello BP!

I'm Sam Lenderman, a new investor living in Tampa, Florida. I've lived down here for about a year and I work as an aerospace engineer at a defense company. I joined BP last year after stumbling across a house-hacking blog on here and becoming obsessed with getting someone else to pay the mortgage.

Long-term, I would like to focus my investment in single and multifamily buy and hold properties. Right now, I'm looking to do my first deal somewhere in Florida, preferably in the Tampa Bay area.

Looking forward to engaging with everyone on the site!

Welcome to Bigger Pockets!

This is a great place to learn and network. A lot of forum members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields related to real estate investing, whether that is real estate sales, wholesaling, flipping, rentals, lending, self-directed IRA and Solo 401k investing, or tax and legal guidance.

Discounts on some products and services are offered to BP members: https://www.biggerpockets.com/perks/pro
