Medical Professional from greater New Orleans, LA getting started
Hello all! I just came across BiggerPockets after seeing several YouTube videos and listening to some starter Podcasts. I honestly don't know what's taken me so long...
My name is Arden Ballard. I'm a Physician Assistant residing in Madisonville, LA (about 40 minutes from downtown New Orleans). I grew up watching/helping my parents rent and flip vacation homes, and I have two properties under my belt--one was a success, one was not!
My wife and I recently inherited what will become a humble single family rental. It's currently being touched up and will soon be on the market.
I have a lot of learning to do, but my main interest is multi-family dwellings, commercial spaces in the future, possible vacation rentals and/or trailer parks.
My goal is to reach 10k in RE income by 2023. but I aspire for much more than that.
