Hey everyone! This is my BiggerPockets introduction!
Hey BiggerPockets, I have been on this site for a few months and I've been getting more involved in the community. I noticed I never posted an introduction so I just want to introduce myself to the community. My name is Tanner Kier, I live in Cold Spring, Minnesota. I am looking to get into rental property investing in my area, my focus being St. Cloud, MN. I have not yet bought a property but have been analyzing properties and negotiating with sellers for about a month, no success YET, but hopefully soon. I currently work as a full time mechanic for the military. I am a part of the Minnesota Army National Guard. I'm also in the process of obtaining my real estate license to work as an agent on the side to assist me in my investing career. I'm on BiggerPockets to learn and meet valuable people. I spend hours a day listening to the BiggerPockets Podcast, big fan. My long term goals are to build a portfolio of single family and multi-family rentals, then transition into commercial real estate. I want to get into real estate investing for the same reason as everyone else, passive cash flow. To spend most of my time at home with my family and not have to worry about my finances. I hope build a good foundation for an early retirement and to be able to travel a lot in the future. Thanks for reading and I hope to see you all on the forums!
