New to Bigger pockets and Denver Co

Hey all, first post here! Im new to bigger pockets and recently moved to the Denver Colorado area from NY for work a few months ago. Looking for any input on the area if anyone is local. Im currently renting but lease will be ending come spring time, looking to buy my first rental property and preferably house hack. I noticed not many duplex's or such within the area close to my job in Highlands Ranch. Does anyone house hack single family homes out here or what are some of the best strategies and areas to look into? Thanks so much! - Nick Nobile

I have rented by the room in two properties without issue. I make sure to run a background and credit check on applicants and use a 6 month lease that becomes month-to-month.

I forgot to mention that Chris also has a podcast called the Denver Real Estate Investing Podcast. Episodes 25, 26, and 78 feature house hacks, and he has a 9-episode series on in-law suites/accessory dwelling units.
