Goodmorning all, thanks for all the replies and info! I have not spoken to a lender yet, planning to do so sometime in january after the holidays. I am in my current lease until May so starting to gather as much info as i can now. Seems like a single family house out here and renting by the room is going to be best option. @James Carlson looks like a great deal on that Aurora house! Was unaware of each city having different rules on how many unrelated people can be within one house hold. Do you guys ever see anything worth trying to invest/house hack even in the foothills like Evergreen-Bailey area? I haven't explored much yet and seen other towns. Most familiar with Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch area

Going to look into an agent out here soon as well after the holidays. Will have to get a bit creative for sure. Thanks for the feedback and happy holidays!

Hey all, first post here! Im new to bigger pockets and recently moved to the Denver Colorado area from NY for work a few months ago. Looking for any input on the area if anyone is local. Im currently renting but lease will be ending come spring time, looking to buy my first rental property and preferably house hack. I noticed not many duplex's or such within the area close to my job in Highlands Ranch. Does anyone house hack single family homes out here or what are some of the best strategies and areas to look into? Thanks so much! - Nick Nobile

Hey guys im new to bigger pockets, recently moved near the Denver Colorado area a few months ago, looking for any input on the local market for house hacking etc. Im not seeing really any duplexs within the area or a reasonable commute to work in Highlands Ranch Co. Im currently renting, lease ends in a few months and would like to look into buying something. Thinking house hacking of somesort to have little or no mortgage would be best my option, any input on what some of you are doing and areas to check out would be greatly appreciated! Also curious if anyone rents out single family homes as investment properties here? Most places are minimum 300-400k from what im seeing near me curious to if you can still get positive cash flow in some places?
