Hello all,

I'm Toma (Tommy) Bojanin.

First I'd like to say I've lurked for some while before I even made an account, but eventually after listening to the podcast over and over again I was bound to make one. I just graduated from Miami University and I work as a software engineer in Columbus, Ohio. I have saved up some cash and I'm looking to start real estate investing in MFH.

My goals are to make enough passive income that it enables me to quit my day job and pursue hobbies and things I enjoy more.

Where I need help?

I'm still relatively new to the Columbus area and REI, so I still have to learn where the best/upcoming neighborhoods are located.

Thank you everyone for your countless posts, I look forward to learning more!

- Tommy

@Toma Bojanin we can talk more about this tomorrow morning during our coffee meeting. If you have a high paying W-2 job I would recommend doing exactly what I did. House hack a 2-4 unit in a B, B+ neighborhood, then repeat this process as much as you can. I did this for almost 2 years until I got laid off. It left me with 10 doors in Old North Columbus. They were expensive but the house hack strategy allowed me to cash flow while staying in a B location. The tenant base is super easy to work with. Now that I do REI full time I can go into C and D neighborhoods and seek greater cash flow.

That is just my thought. @Trent Ecklar What do you think about this strategy?
