New to real estate investing in NC

I'm in the saving phase of my real estate investing so I am currently looking to stock pile as much cash as I can and LEARN as much as I can while I do it. I'm planning on purchasing my first investment property in 12-24 months. I look forward to learning as much as I can from all the experienced investors here. @Patrick Whiteside Since you're local, we have a monthly meetup on the second Wednesday of each month.  Lately, it's been at the Ale House in Brier Creek at 6:00.  Also, TREIA is another good organization.
