New Investor in Greater Boston Area

Hello BiggerPockets Community!

My name is Allen, and I am a new investor in the North Shore area of Massachusetts.  I’m very excited to be joining such a strong community of people who share my passion for real estate investing.  I am ready to begin on my journey, and am eager to start connecting with other people as ambitious and driven as myself.  

As a newer, and younger, investor one of my greatest assets I have to offer is my time, and I would love to be able to use my time to help and work with others as much as possible while gaining valuable experience of my own and continuing to develop my skills in the industry.  Even though I am new to this industry, I work full time in Event Operations, so I have skills in creating and implementing systems to improve efficiency and repeatability, and working in an urgent and time sensitive environment with strict and important deadlines.  I am also skilled in working with numbers, organizing information, and researching.  This is what I truly enjoy doing, and would love to be able to use these skills to help and work with other investors who may not enjoy this side of the business as much!

I am struggling to find any investor clubs or meetups in the North Shore area, so I would love to hear from and connect with as many other people in that area as possible, as well as people from all over!

Welcome Allen! It sounds like you have some great skills and can definitely leverage those to build relationships in the area. We host 3 meetups a month in the north shore area under the name “Pints and Properties”. You can find our events under the networking tab but here is the link to our next meetup on 3/12. If you’re able to attend I think you’ll find a good group of newer investors to network with. And if you like what we’re doing I’m sure we can find a way to use the skills you have to offer.
