Hey Bigger Pockets community! My name is Ben Pehling and I'm from Minneapolis, MN where my wife and I just bought our first home and investment property (a duplex) in NE Minneapolis back in January. I'm 32, a software developer and my wife and I have 2 young children with a 3rd on the way. We had been looking for a SFH last summer, but were inspired by a friend who hit financial independence using RE and changed gears towards REI. My goal is to replace my income using income from real estate investments so I'm looking to generate cashflow.
