New to REI in the Research Triangle

Peter Voorhees
Posted

Hi everyone! I am a graduate student in my late 20s who lives in the Chapel Hill-Durham leg of the Research Triangle in North Carolina. Before starting grad school, I spent two years working in a real estate development firm specializing in large-scale commercial and solar projects in NJ and, before that, worked under a general contractor for several years. Now, on the back nine of my PhD, so to speak, I have become interested in investing in real estate myself. I am primarily interested in learning about long term rental investing, finding partners, and learning about the market in the Research Triangle, as I am relatively new to the area.

Looking forward to getting to know this community.

Hi Peter, welcome! I am a licensed Real Estate Broker in NJ & NC! lol I moved to Chapel Hill in '06 and have seen many trend changes in the market in the Triangle. I have my own firm that focuses on Commercial Multi-family, multi-family. I am affiliated with a Residential firm as well. Let me know if you ever want to have a conversation or grab a coffee to talk about the market here.  • Carol Small
