Introduction & Starting Out (Syndication)

Hello, Bigger Pockets Community.

I hope everyone is doing well. I am posting this because I wanted to reach out to the community and just tell people about myself and what I'm looking to get into. 

To Formally introduce myself, My name is Christian. Currently living in Boston but originally from LA and other states (moved around a lot but LA is home). Have a great passion for Real Estate and that is what has to lead me to listen to the podcast and others every single day and week just constantly learning and trying to better understand the whole process. 

I'm looking to start doing Syndications. I want to be able to connect with everyone who is involved in that. I love to just talk and better understand the business, as well as help in any way possible. I will probably reach out to many of you and just try to connect with everyone because that is my nature and I am determined to get started. I hope that I can add value as well as create strong and good relationships with many of you in whatever way that may be. Hope to learn a lot from this new journey that I am beginning to take and enjoy all the ups and downs I will face. 

I am looking to start in the South FL market as that is the area that I have the most contacts and boots on the ground and generally have a good understanding of the area. As well as a destined area that I will be moving to in the next year or so.

Welcome @Christian Onalfo. I run a local investor focused real estate team in greater Boston. We just completed our first syndication earlier this year in Lowell MA. I hear the first one is the hardest and we certainly had our challenges but we’re officially 1 month into management and things are going well. We’re out shopping for our next project but we’re focusing on MA and NH since those are the markets we know best.
