Hi my name is Han. And I am new to invest world.

I was searching Augusta georgia near Fort Gordon.

I noticed many houses was sold 15k to 25k during 2014 till early 2016.

It's there anybody who invest this area who want to tell me  what what was happened that time and how is it right now?

I am not living there right now but there is chance to move there in 6 month.

Thanks.

Jung,

I lived in Augusta for 4 years until August 2016 when I moved to Braselton GA. My wife and I currently have a rental property in the Augusta area and are looking to add more.  South augusta towards fort Gordon has been a depressed area for many years.  The appreciation you see around the fort is likely due to the military increasing the size of the cyber command in the area.  Current talk is that the fort will greatly increase in size in the coming years. I am not sure if anything official has been announced though.  We really grew to like the Augusta area and believe it is a good place to begin investing in real-estate.
