Closing Costs?

How do i estimate closing costs here in Illinois so i can use the number to plug in to the biggerpockets calculators?

Alex,

As long as you have a good team, especially a PM that is good and you can trust ( to a point, always check on them and their accounting to make sure) it can be good. my houses are 3 hrs away, so i do not manage them myself, i will shoot out there every now and then if i have to, to look at other properties or just to check to see how the properties are ( usually do not tell the PM i am going out there, this keeps them on their toes, especially if they get a email from me)

I'm not from Illinois, from NJ, but have property in PA, confused yet ? but what i have found is that my Average closing cost in PA has been around 4%

and yes, it is 3% most of the time.

I was investing in apartments in Sweden, and there is nothing like closing costs there. I am so annoyed with it here is Chicagoland.

Typically, I pay around 3-4 percent here in Illinois. So @Patrick It's quite similar to PA
