Which comes first? Finding the financing or finding the deal?

Hello,

I am new to the BP Community/real estate investing and looking to get my first deal. I am looking for multifamily properties. Do I find the deal first, and then go to the lender with the property info and numbers. Or do I try to get a pre-approval first?

Get started with a lender. Expect to have 15-30% cash down payment. Look for deals at the same time.
