Unable to tag BP members

Hello Everyone, 

I'm fairly new to BP and when I try to tag members in my posts with the @ symbol in front of their name,  their name/names don't come up for me to select them (if that makes sense). Therefore, they won't get the notification unless they so happen to look at the post. I am using my Galaxy cell phone and tablet when on BP. Not sure what the issue may be. Any assistance would be great, thanks!
