State of The Union
Without any personal attacks towards any party or poster, I am interested in hearing what (if any) everyone LIKED about the State of the Union address. I know some key points that the Republican side was wishing for were touched on. Whether you believe he will follow thru or not, is not the question. Let's say everything he said was golden, which elements would you support or think might actually help the economy?

Did you see the new Star Trek movie, the one with Chris Pine in it? Young James Kirk defeated the "Kobiashi Maru" simulation by altering the software program. When he was called to answer for his alleged "cheating", his response was the test itself was a cheat, the 'no-win' scenario. The only way to defeat a CHEAT test is to cheat.
Your original post stated, "Let's say everything he said was golden,...." Your original post is a CHEAT. Everything he said was a LIE, a pile of Bovine Excretement, something a thug Chicago Politician would say.
Watching Michelle and Barack reminded me of the 1960's when I would watch Bozo the Clown and Hobo Kelly. Good comic relief but absolutely NO SUBSTANCE. Hobo Kelly staring at the camera with her 'magical sunglasses' and saying "Hey, I see little Johnny, and Susie, and Bobby, and Sharon, etc..." when all she was seeing was the camera. Smoke and Mirrors, lie and deceipt, hidden agenda's, etc...
So if you are going to post "everything he said was golden", then I have the right to say everything he said was leaden.
