Thanks @Asrar Rashid! I'll check out The Property Podcast.  I agree there is potential everywhere.  We actually just acquired another rental in the Kansas City and will probably continue to invest in the US while we are located in the UK.  My main reason to look for a real estate meetup in my area is to spend time around like minded people and keep myself motivated.  Who knows maybe an opportunity to work with some investors in the UK will come out of it.
