These Damn FOIA requests!!!!

Hey Bigger Pockets Family,

I have requested a codes violation list from my local government thru a FOIA request a few times now and I have been unsuccessful. How do I need to word this thing because they keep telling me that they do not have the info I am requesting. Thanks in advanced for your responses!!!

@Matthew Beharrysingh Its not a FOIA request you need to submit, its an open records request. Make sure you are submitting to the correct department. Call code enforcement and ask them what their monthly report is called and then send an open record request for that list.
